Gainax featured this caricaturized image of chiptune artist Professor Sakamoto and his song “8bit Shower” on their website recently. you’ll notice his rad famicom gear and the destroyed next-gen skycrapers. (and the flaming red ring of death). apparently Sakamoto rocks a cape and a famicom on his head on a regular basis. can’t hate on that, really. click the pic if you want to hear the song and/or see a higher res.
